I was so traumatically triggered by the warnings, the accents and the story itself that it has taken me the better part of the day just to summon the emotional-psychological-spiritual wherewithal to respond. Many years ago I was abducted by aliens and taken to that very connecting flight. The experiments were not awful, but the food, unexpectedly, was beyond bad. Count yourselves lucky that you never made it onto that flight.
