After three reads i am so moved and thrilled And weirdly jealous of the richness of the material of your childhood, and your husbandry of it. Its etching new lines in my brain. Please get chapter three written right away.

Yep, you named it, Jane: “weirdly jealous of the richness of the material of your childhood.” I also find myself wondering how my childhood would read if as excellently told, and that’s a compliment.
